Program designed with everyday way of life in mind

Exercise Prescription

Each dog presents with different needs, including what the owner is requiring from their dog.  No fancy equipment used, no placing the dog in positions (such as balancing on inflatable balls) that will take thier 'choice' to have time out away from them and certainly no use of noxious items to achieve the required exercise - barbaric

Aim of Exercises

I use exercises that incorporate everyday equipment available to us in our home or the natural environment to improve muscle weakness, strength and flexibility.  Mobility improves once your dog’s muscles are functioning in a balanced manner.  Dogs have different neuro pathways to humans.  Our pathways are designed to learn millions of sequences like tying shoelaces, writing, etc.  A dogs main neuro 'processor' pathway is designed to produce functional movements as opposed to intricate ones, such as, walking, swimming and grooming.  Exercises I use are classed as functional and suited to a dogs requirements.

How

Exercise programs are tailored to your dog’s needs at a level that will not over exert, setting your dog back.  Each exercise will be demonstrated, explained and backed up with paperwork to guide you.  I am contactable at anytime if you need further advice or guidance.
